My practice centres on an emotional response to the landscape, to nature: how we live within it, interpret it and how it can inspire awe. The work is about experiencing an immersion within nature and sensing and seeing the sacred. In philosophy, “eros” is a life force that permeates all of creation, part of the joyfulness of life creation; a sexual energy. Although the work can inspire feelings of isolation, vulnerability, solitude, we are also invited to explore the companionship and intimacy of “eros”.
