“Breeze” is a reflection of my own state of mind. The peaceful campus workshop provides a welcome escape from the stress of everyday life. For me, heaven is a carving knife, a pot of tea, classical music – and this tranquility finds expression in my prints. In “Breeze”, the black plate was painted with ink made of tar diluted with turpentine applied with a Chinese brush and oil painting brush. Two to three layers of ink were applied to create an unusual lithographic effect.
